Blackness Boat Club
Blackness Boat Club is a small club on the southern shore of the River Forth between South Queensferry and Bo’ness. Formed around 1972 with the purchase of the pier and the erection of the club house there are still a few original members in our midst.
While we have a full racing calendar and also get together for cruising the licenced club house is a friendly place to wile away the time while the tide is out. We are always keen to welcome new sailing members and particularly keen to recruit younger sailors.
For further details email carolstorrar@yahoo.co.uk or pop into the clubhouse at the weekend.
Extensive details of our facilities as well as where to find us and how to contact us can be found in the “about us” tab.
You will also find details of who is at the helm, as well as whom our previous Commodores and Vice-Commodores have been.
Club news will keep you up to date with recent events and important information for members.
Events tab gives you the clubs diary of events as well as race results and also a history of the clubs trophies and previous winners.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, our Gallery shows some of the activities around the club as well sailing trips that members take part in. This is backed up by a selection of video clips.
If you have any photos or video that would be of interest to the club, please contact Charlie Simpson on – charliesimpson@blueyonder.co.uk to arrange copies.
